Or: when Toyota conducted their FTO review, they likely focused on hardware patents, such as FM chips and video codecs, assuming that their GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) suppliers had the software side covered. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That\u2019s a classic blind spot – It\u2019s easy to locate the elements in hardware based patents but gets trickier to locate the overlapping claims where data flows need to be interpreted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
